Vanilla shelf life
Shelf life is the period of time, that we use the product under the defined conditions. Therefore, Vanilla products also have a shelf life.
Gourmet Vanilla beans will keep for at least a year or two if you can store properly (closed container in a cool, dry place).
NOTE: Avoid storing them in the refrigerator, as this may encourage mold to grow.
Vanilla extract will keep for at least five years or forever if you can store properly (sealed container in a cool, dark place). Artificial vanilla for two-four years
NOTE: Do not refrigerate or freeze, even after opening.
In conclusion, vanilla self-life varies with the store’s condition and packaging.

You are 100% correct and vanilla beans can be stored in air tight container any time. And do not put in refrigerator. It sucks. However I’ll try your company vanilla beans next time. Thanks for sharing information.
